This lightweight, stylish solar panel may look cool, but we had a hard time convincing ourselves that it was worth the extra money for the Yolk 5W. A Kickstarter company that raised over 1 million dollars to create revolutionary, lightweight panels, Yolk has created a tiny, magnetic panel that is almost as thin as paper. We liked the idea of this highly transportable panel, but in practice, it did not work very well when used in the great outdoors. If you plan on using your panel in mostly urban settings, the Yolk could be a good option.
