The Lake CX237 offer a lot in the way of dependability, stiffness, and roominess for those of us with wider feet. They come with a sturdy leather upper that will last and a sweet, full carbon sole. We liked riding these, but they did have a bit of a Sherman tank feel to them – they would be excellent in the winter when thick socks are especially cumbersome in narrower, lighter shoes.
