The OMM Mountain Raid 40 is an ultralight 14 oz synthetic sleeping bag for adventure racing, travel, emergency use, and times when you need lightweight warm-when-wet insulation. The bag uses 60g/m Primaloft ONE on top and 40g/m on the bottom, and Pertex Quantum shell fabric; it’s basically a very high quality lightweight synthetic jacket for your entire body. This is our favorite emergency use sleeping bag because it packs very small, weighs little, and works well even if it’s wet out– like an emergency bivy sack but arguably more effective.
