The Igloo Trailmate Marine is chock-full of features and rocks some giant wheels with high clearance to cart your festivities just about anywhere. While we generally liked this cooler’s usability, funky variety of features, and ability to roll with us, we found ourselves disappointed in its insulation and durability. The lid actually pulled right off the cooler with very little effort, and though we were able to reattach it, we’re bummed it happened in the first place. If you’re in the game for sheer quantity of features and the lowest possible price tag, you might like the bells and whistles of the Trailmate. However, in terms of actual performance, it leaves a lot to be desired, and we think there are far better-performing wheeled coolers out there.
