The following effect is achieved through a small high-performance fanspecially developed for and with SOG® (resistant to the aggressive componentsin the intake air from the sewage tank | waterproof)

switches on automatically when the toilet slide is opened and creates a negative pressure in the waste-holding tank
this creates a “suction” at the valve opening, which sucks in fresh air and also the smells that arise during use and directs it outside
the inward flow of air also behaves like a seal and fully prevents any unpleasant biogases from rising out of the tank (Comfort without odor)
the system switches off automatically when the toilet valve is closed, but continues to provide permanent aeration – as the oxygen supply – through a pipe or hose connection that is always open to the outside, thereby promoting the decomposition process

Protection of the environment
In addition to the end of odor nuisance, active toilet ventilation has thegreat advantage that it works without the use of chemicals.

When the slide is closed, the hose connection of the SOG®System to the outsideensures that the decomposition process is accelerated by the deliberate supplyof oxygen to the faeces tank. Even commercially available toilet paper isbroken down in a very short time and the use of special paper is unnecessary.

Activated charcoal
An important constituent part of the SOG® and SOG®II is activated charcoal.
This is made in a very environmentally-friendly way from organic materialssuch as peat, nutshells and sugar.

This mainly consist of carbon (mostly>90%) with a highly porous structure.The pores are connected to one another as in a sponge (open-pored).

Active charcoal is used as an adsorption material in, among otherapplications, the chemical and medical industries, for the treatment of waterand waste water, and in ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Floor version

The SOG®II compact unit offers a wide variety of options for ventilatingtoilets..
The unit consists of a replaceable filter cartridge in which there is the fan.This can be placed at any desired distance up to three metres from the toiletand ventilates through any desired point above the floor (e.g. in the garage,under the bench, in the double floor or in the stowage compartment).
We recommend that the SOG®II floor version is installed in caravans where theservice flap of the toilet exists directly into the awning. The speciallydeveloped filter unit works so efficiently that the extracted odour-laden airis completely neutralised.
SOG®II thus offers an air extraction version that permits a wide variety ofinstallation locations in addition to simple retrofitting. (Filter: 90 mm H,110 mm Ø I Filter unit with fan: 160 mm H)
