The REI Co-op Ruckpack 65 is a travel backpack that can satisfy your needs on and off the trail. While many of its features are designed with travel in mind, it can also be used for shorter overnight trips in the backcountry. Because its dual purpose can allow you to save money by only buying one pack, we awarded it the Best Travel and Backpacking Pack in our budget backpacks review. Our favorite feature of the pack is the u-shaped zippered opening, which allows the entire back of the pack to open. It also has a zippered panel to cover the straps and a small daypack that attaches to the back. These both made using this pack for travel a breeze. With a hydration pocket, ice axe loops, and multiple attachment points for gear, this pack has no problem hitting the trail. If you’re looking for one pack to do it all, this might be the pack for you.
