Overall, the BPS Adjustable 2-piece Fiberglass failed to meet our expectations once we got on the water. This paddle not only did it do fairly poorly in our performance test, but it is also one of the more difficult paddles to adjust in length. Couple that with a bit more weight than the top-tier paddles and a rather uninspiring look, and you get a paddle that we are fairly reticent to recommend. True, it will get you from Point A to Point B on a stand-up paddleboard, but you will expend a decent amount of unnecessary energy in the process, and you could save some money by going with comparable paddles that cost less.
