Having been in their lineup since 1996, the CamelBak M.U.L.E. is a CamelBak classic! It has many of the same bike-specific features found on other models in our test, but not all, which helps keep the weight down. CamelBak says “it’s got everything you need and nothing you don’t” and we mostly agree. Although this is a mountain bike oriented model, we that found hiking and trail running are also within its capabilities. If you’re the type of rider who carries enough gear to fill a pack but you don’t care about fancy features and little extras, this may be the one for you.
