The Canyon Strive AL 6.0 is a versatile enduro bike that offers intuitive and predictable performance. While the geometry may feel outdated, this aluminum bicycle offers a well-rounded ride, nice components, and an attractive price tag. Three testers spent four weeks smashing the Strive around the Sierra Nevada Mountains to provide you with the essential details. When you are perched upon the Strive it is easy to have flashbacks to the days of yore when enduro bikes didn’t have 65-degree head tube angles. This bike definitely felt old-school, which may not be a bad thing in the days of ultra-long and low bikes. The Strive is a stellar climber thanks to the Shapeshifter technology which allows riders to flip between two geometry settings on the fly. Downhill abilities are solid. The suspension is smooth and predictable on both small bumps and larger impacts. The front end of this bike is high and flat-out awkward in many situations.At $2599, is easy to call the Strive a strong value for a large population of riders.
