Flylow, with their Roswell jacket, continues to back up their reputation. This company is known for making comfortable, stylish gear that will beat back gnarly ski resort weather. The Roswell is no exception. Its warmth and weather protection is adequate and sits in the middle of our tested products. In most ways, the comfort is top notch. One strange outlier, comfort wise, is the poor geometry of the integrated wrist cuff gaiters. These are uncomfortable for nearly everyone. The Roswell’s synthetic insulation will not last as long as the down in our Editors’ Choice winner, the Arc’teryx Macai, and isn’t the value of our Best Buy winner, The North Face Vortex Triclimate. However, it is a solid performer in the middle of the pack.
