The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Ice Pack is a niche pack that is great for glacier travel or alpine ice climbing. We found the fabric to be too fragile for alpine rock and didn’t like all the straps, velcro and buckles we had to deal with when opening and closing the pack. This pack is quite light and surprisingly comfortable for its weight; it is, in fact, one of the most comfortable backpacks in this review.
