While the Kammok Thylacine is an interesting idea, it doesn’t compare well to the bags of the ultralight variety and could use some improvement in several areas. This down mummy bag is supposed to be a two-part system, including a mummy liner for an additional $199 to go down an additional 15 degrees. We only tested the down base bag, but as a stand-alone sleeping bag, it seems better suited to the more casual camper looking for features than an ultralight thru-hiker.
