Our toolbox is filled with great quality bike tools from Park; unfortunately, the PFP 8 is headed to the landfill. One toss is all it took for the plastic base on this pump to snap. We’re wondering who is running the ergonomics department over at Park, too, because the banana-shaped handle tweaked our wrists and diverted pumping forces in every direction, making us fight the pump from wobbling during use. The gauge was quite large but proved difficult to read because of the broad pump needle. If Park could beef up the design a bit, this pump would probably fare much better. It moved a ton of air in a short time, but it wasn’t enough to win our hearts.
