The Silca Pista Plus is a sleek track pump with a nice tripod base, wooden handle, and a subtle gray paint job. The issue with this pump is its gauge; it is small, the casing casts shadows on the face of it, the color scheme is difficult to read from a distance, and we found its readings to be off by as much as 7 psi. This pump is primarily designed for very high-pressure track tires. It is well-made with a heavy-duty steel barrel and base, so it will do well with frequent use, especially if it’s attached exclusively to Presta valves on high-pressure tires. An independent pressure gauge may be a good secondary investment, however.
