It provides excellent weather protection with Mammut’s 3-layer hard shell, which is highly durable, breathable, windproof, and waterproof to seal out slush and snowy weather. It’s also designed to keep us from overheating during high-output activities, too, thanks to its highly breathable fabric and long ventilation zippers, which release steamy moisture vapor if we start to run hot on grueling ascents or warmer spring ski tours. The forgiving fit is designed for free riders with plenty of points of adjustment, including a removable rib, adjustable waist, and snap button hem adjustments to fit around our ski boots or crampons.
